As pond keepers we have a responsibility to care for the wellbeing of its inhabitants. Whereas some creatures, like frogs and dragonflies, have the have the option to leave if things are not up to scratch many others, like fish, are trapped for better or worse. The rewards are healthier and happier fish that not only grow well but are encouraged to breed. This really adds to the enjoyment of our ponds.
